The Cap of Ladyfest Weekend Open Mic Night Featuring Rachel Wiley!

Hey folks,

After all of our birthday fun last month, we're getting back to basics: kick ass open mic poetry and an amazing feature!

This month is no different where we're featuring one of the most prominent female poets in the nation: Rachel Wiley!  You CANNOT miss this show!

Doors open at 7pm and the poetry starts at 7:30pm with a $2 admission charge!

Rachel Wiley is a poet, performer and body positive activist from Columbus, Ohio. She is on staff at Writing Wrongs Poetry Slam   Rachel has competed in multiple National Poetry Slam Competitions and was a finalist twice in 2011.  She has toured nationally performing at Slam Venues, Colleges and Festivals including the 2014 Geraldine Dodge Poetry Festival  in Newark, NJ. Her work has been featured by the Huffington Post ,Everyday Feminism ,Frigg Magazine, Drunken Boat, Drunk in a Midnight Choir and Nailed Magazine. Rachel's first full length collection of poems Fat Girl Finishing School was published on Timber Mouse Press.
