Dayton Poetry Slam is the longest running poetry event in Dayton OH. Since its creation in 1999, it has been housed in a number of different venues including Canal Street Tavern, The Dublin Pub, Therapy Cafe, The Oregon Express, One-Eyed Jacks, Canal Public House, and our current home: Yellow Cab Tavern.

We offer Open Mic events, Feature Performances, and Slam competitions, Open to the public with a $3 entry fee. We currently hold an event every 1st and 3rd Sunday at 7 PM at Yellow Cab Tavern.
