Belle Townsend is a rural Kentucky-born and raised poet, political scientist, baker, entrepreneur, and research writer. A graduate of Boston University, Belle holds her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and has focused on the exploration of international political economy, law and politics, and political philosophy.
Belle is also published in The National Library of Poetry with “Bloom, Baby, Bloom”, as well as the Undercurrent Anthology, Preposition, with “What Felt Like Hers but Never Was”. Additionally their poetic work “Berries Over Blood” is published in Flail House Press. Most Recently, Belle’s Poem, “The Crop Rotation of Love and Hate”, was featured in Queer Kentucky’s first print publication. Belle is available to freelance op-eds or poems, as well as to book poetry readings, author talks, slam features, book signings, or whatever your little heart desires.
